このエピソードでは、アメリカ２１年目で体験した英語発音と日本語発音の発声と響きの違いをシェアしました。鼻が詰まって喉が痛い時、日本語を話すとものすごく病人のような声になり、ちょっと話しただけで喉が痛くなります。ところが同じ状態でも英語を話すと病人のような声にはならないし、英語の発声で英語を話していても喉は痛くなりません。この状態の時、英語と日本語ではどう発声しているのか、どこを響かせているのかを観察し、違いを発見しました。これがわかると英語の声が進化してきます！力強い振動とエネルギーを手に入れて、英語環境で自信を持って話せる声を手に入れましょう。

Hey, guys! It’s Aiko Hemingway ヘミングウェイ愛子. I am an American English pronunciation coach, business coach, TEDx speaker (TEDxHuntingtonBeach, California) and an international best selling author.

I came to the US from Japan when I was 23 years old, and I did not speak English well and had a hard time in the US communicating with native English speakers. I realized how important pronunciation basics were in my 6th year in the US, and I took accent reduction lessons, learned linguistics, phonetics and intonation study at UCLA, and took singing lessons in order to improve my English. Now I help Japanese speakers, who are in an American English environment, improve their English pronunciation effectively. 50% of my clients are English coaches, English pronunciation coaches, English teachers, and educators.
